LIVE THE HEADWATERS LIFESTYLE

SARAH ASTON – HEADWATERS REALTY

I have lived in the Headwaters Region for over 30 years and am honoured to call this magical place home.  Although it is just a short commute to the GTA, it is worlds away.  The traffic, noise and shear number of people fade into the distance when I drive north.

Whenever I am away, I don’t feel like I am “home” until I look over the magnificent Hockley Valley as it unfolds in front of me just north of Mono Mills on Airport Road.

I believe the Headwaters landscape, where we live and the change of seasons defines us more than a title of a job.  Great friends are usually made by playing a sport or doing an activity- the possibilities are as endless and varied as the people who inhabit this area. In addition, in Headwaters, neighbours are cherished and those relationships are cultivated.  You never know when you may be in the ditch and need a hand or you may have overestimated the number of beans your family was going to consume in your vegetable patch and want to share!

Horseback riding, hiking, downhill and cross-country skiing are just some of the many varied activities

I think we all get along so well because a significant number of us have made a conscious decision to live here and embrace a more peaceful rural life.  There are lovely towns and hamlets as well as larger urban centres for shopping, hospitals, and schools. I feel we have the best of both worlds.  We have a world-class city just over an hour away,  and yet enjoy the small town feel and peace of mind that this is the place you would want to raise your kids and live into retirement.

Dear Sarah, this is just a little thank you for the long and sometimes bumpy road into selling my house. It was a pleasure to watch you negotiate your very professional way into finally “clinching” the deal. I felt very secure in your OH so capable hands Sarah, and I appreciate the time and trouble you took on my behalf. Thank you.

Sarah busted her butt to get my business sold in a really tough market. She talked me off the cliff and calmed me down when negotiations got rough and was an effective mediator. She is a capable and trusted advisor.

Dear Sarah, It is a thrill for me to be able to say “thank you” to you for selling my home. It truly was a journey we embarked on together and I think your vested interest in me finding the right buyer for my home at the right price, was just one of the many amazing qualities you brought to the table. The main reason I chose to list my home with you and Sutton Headwaters was your “no lock box” policy. The fact that you attended every showing, provided me with a real sense of security. The added benefit to this was having you at every showing where you were able to put forward the unique features of my home and property to each and every potential buyer. Afterwards you were able to provide me with good feedback from each showing and in a very timely manner. You didn’t just list my home for sale, you SOLD my home. In my mind that clearly sets you above many of the agents out there today. Going over and above seemed to be a regular thing with you. Can’t forget when you arrived with the whole family to power wash the pool, or when you helped out at my garage sale or coming to the rescue when my tenant moved out. All things that I didn’t expect but for which I am most grateful. My most sincere thank you is for you just being you. Your commitment and dedication to getting the job done and always with integrity and honesty are qualities that are rare but what will continue to set you far apart from many in your field. I wish you every success in all that you do. What you did for me, will always be appreciated. For some it might be just selling a home but for me it was “selling my home”. Thank you,

Dear Sarah, I want to thank you for helping me purchase and then sell my home. I knew that during the negotiations you were 100% there for me. You are very professional and highly knowledgeable. It is so very important to be able to “trust” your agent. I would not consider anyone else to assist me in my realty transactions. Thank you so much.
